I'm planning on starting our new format on next Monday, March 7. I will be posting a schedule, and full clarification of the rules sometime this week. There will be 16 participants and 12 weeks of debate, followed by a three week playoff, involving the top 8 participants. I've decided to go with the new format that I described here. The rules will be simple. Each week, there will be a slate of scheduled debates. The debates will all start on Monday at approximately Noon EST. You will have five days, till Saturday at Noon EST, to debate. Apparently, there is an issue affecting free accounts on the cluster that debate arena is currently on. This has caused the community to go in and out of read-only mode frequently, and has prohibited access to the memories section.
