I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate your kind words, your encouragement, and your patience. Clearly, my slacker self does not deserve them.

I'm just in a big vortex of blah. Perhaps I am sad about aging (probably I am just lazy). Ask me for any random Apprentice-related scene and I will write it for you within 24 hours of when you post it (unless it spoilers something upcoming).

The Apprentice, Chapter 18 update
Heyo. Just two little scenes left--I'm hoping to have the new chapter up by the end of the week. (Upside of the summer: My second job's hours are fewer, which means more writing time! Downside of the summer: I end up going out of town almost every weekend, which means far less writing time. Here's hoping I get it all balanced out.) -
The Apprentice, Chapter 17
Chapter 17 of The Apprentice (and the end of 1976! hooray!) has now been uploaded to fanfiction.net. It's quite long--about half again as long as my usual chapters--which I hope adds to rather than detracts from reading enjoyment!

oh my good lord this chapter is SO LONG
In any case, I'm maybe... 2/3 of the way done at 4500ish words (most chapters are around this length when finished, soooo). I'm shooting for a post date of Thursday or Friday; I've got the difficult bits out of the way, so. I hope.
