Stay Kitty
So Anita, my stray kitty, may have found a home. We're going to attempt to work an adoption on Thursday. I'm sad about it, but happy for her. Anita needs to be in a home where she can do what she wants without a big, orange cat to harass her. She needs a place where she doesn't have to live in a divided house. But dangit if it doesn't hurt.

LeBron
I have spent the better part of the day, attempting to get LeBron James' autograph in a book that he *wrote*. Leah, my sister has turned into a fan-girl for him. So, this is one of her Christmas gifts...a very costly one quite frankly. I made a special trip up here for this signing. Hard Day
It's been a hard day today. I had great friends from seminary come for a visit, and I love having them here. And it always makes me feel a bit more my "self" when I get to see seminary friends.
Personally, I'm struggling. I found out Monday that the PART-TIME, INTERIM minister here made SEVEN THOUSAND more dollars a year than I do AND had a ( Read more... ) -
Softball
Ok, after the "life sucks" post, I had to post this. Went to softball, had a great game. I was actually running with a spring in my step and it felt great. Yay me. Now, I have to try and get sleep, because I have kids to pick up from camp tomorrow.

I'm not so happy these days. Part of it is work. Part of it is my Mom being sick-ish and having to re-do surgery from a month ago. Part of it is that my house is a mess. Part of it is trying to figure out if I'm supposed to keep a stray cat or not.

Softball Ramblings
Ok, I played softball for a local bar for all of last summer and much of the fall. All in all, it was a good time. I'm older, and out of shape, if I'm honest with myself, but I've played ball since I was 6. That's a long freaking time. I've played, I've coached, I've umped. And now I find myself worrying about playing this season.

Rollercoster of a day
Well, I guess it would be more accurate to say that it has been 6wks of craziness. My Mom was diagnosed with kidney failure shortly after Christmas and it has been incredibly intense to deal with. My sister is in Utah and my Mom is not married, her brother and sister live in New Jersey and Georgia respectively. So I get the brunt of all of this ( Read more... )
