Someone on my friends list just told me about this great poet... Alix Olson. In her website I found some really neat political poems. I was a bit surprised about seeing this one, so here it is

I have to say that it is most definitely an enjoyable poem to read. I have my own issues with hair that I am not going to get into now, but I very much understand the other side, too.

I'm glad that you like her, too. I was introduced to her when she performed at the Women's March for Life, in D.C. this past April and I have been hooked ever since. =)

I love her. I've seen her a couple of times at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival and was blown away each time. I also got to hear hundreds of women singing along with the above, many of them proudly displaying their hair. I doubt I need explain how amazing that was.

I'm sure her cds are available in Canada but if you can't find any I'd be happy to burn you a copy of the one I have -- Armpit Hair is on there in fact.

Alex wishes he had looked better... I actually only wish we had met you a little while longer so we could have been a tad bit more comfortable with the nudes ;P
