[Vergil is in the library, notebooks scattered behind him with diagrams and notes in his neat handwriting. Whatever he's studying, it looks complicated.]

I am sure I will tire of it soon enough, but for now being on this ship is infinitely preferable then being trapped amidst a sea of mud and frogs. It's amazing how fast you forget that running hot ( Read more... )

of course he's in the library, observations, crucible

No, it's all wrong. [She hasn't left her room for anything, but at least the inscriptions on the walls are completed now.]

I don't have the connection that you do to the earth, Oracle. It may be wrong, but I can't feel it.

[Frowns] Something must be done with your hair.

Lost, it's lost. Not supposed to happen. [She huddles into a tight ball, hugging her knees.]

If it's lost, then perhaps this is an opportunity to put yourself back together.

I suppose asking if you care if your hair is cut off would be rather pointless, given your mental state. Nevertheless, that mess needs to be taken care of by somebody, and seeing nobody has done anything yet...

A privilege when they're in control?

[:|] What's wrong with mud?

dei_irati March 31 2009, 03:16:12 UTC

dei_irati March 31 2009, 03:31:33 UTC
True, but this metal prison is at least moving. I believe being stuck on a planet full of frogs and sex-switching pollen would have driven me crazy sooner rather then later. There's more resources to be had here.

[In the library, glasses on from reading]

Maybe it's magic.

Possible, but I've seen nothing else on the ship to indicate the presence of magic. What there is seems to be confined to the passengers.

I guess if they're going to figure out how to send massive ships into space, someone could manage to tattoo you.

That explanation doesn't sit well.

Yeah...but I still don't trust it completely.

Of course not. I am, however, appreciating being able to eat something besides nuts.

That and sleeping in an actual bed is always nice.

I'm sure it would be, if mine hadn't been stolen.
