The strip club I pass on the way home from work is having a President's Day special... I thought that the holiday was in honor Washington and Lincoln, not Clinton and Kennedy (to say nothing about what I think about them politically, just that it was the easiest joke)...

Went to take a shower tonight and decided to get out a new bar of soap. I noticed that the little cardboard box it came in can be resealed, the way you close a box of cereal. Now, does anyone actually use this feature? Are people carefully drying out their soap so they can place it back in the box between showers?

In true Charlie Brown like fashion, I came home today and found in my mailbox no valentines any little red haired girls. But, I did find it interesting that there was a note in there featuring the Peanuts players. I saw on TV that only 60% of clergy believe in virgin birth. I'm thinking they just might be in the wrong line of work...

Went to dinner with the parents and and for some reason someone said the word "sauce." I said "oooh, don't start me on the sauce!" In no time flat, we were singing the line. My brother and I decided that we had to record this. I wrote some lyrics and by the end of the night, we had a demo. Hopefully we'll have something presentable soon ( Read more... )

I dunno, I didn't think it was all that bad. Kinda boring, I guess, but certainly not the worst. I was kinda upset that I can't find anyone else who dislikes Napolean Dynamite as much as me, though (save for Roger Ebert)...

I've become pretty good at sussing which movies I'll like and which ones I won't just from watching the trailers. But, I do write reviews for the paper, so sometimes I have to see things I wouldn't normally see. In fact, of my bottom 10, 9 of them were assignments for the paper.
