I'm finally home from Portland.

Last night we missed the last MAX rail back to the hotel so we had to hoof it.

It took forever.

After 4 straight nights and 3 straight days of dancing and activities and walking everywhere, I finally got a fair amount of sleep.

I woke up today at 11.

It finally hit me that I've only been up for 13 hours right now.

I'm officially a film student.

I start class on June 15th

I spent today getting materials for a portable "green screen" that I'm building.

I need some more stuff to finish it, but so far it looks stellar.

I already have a few projects lined up that I may be able to use for school also.

I just hope they turn out as good as they are in my head.

During the past few days I've really been considering walking out on my job.

Just up and leaving.

It came to me that I need to go back to school.

I've kind of worked myself into a niche and there's no way I'm going to be able to get paid anywhere close to what I am, with my qualifications at any other company on the planet.

So this Sunday is my birthday, but I'm going to be celebrating on Saturday.

Not entirely sure what the plan is, but I think lunch at Seaport Village is on the menu, then possibly back to my place for Rock Band and/or other festivities.

So I've been playing a lot of Fallout 3 lately.
For those of you who aren't familiar, it's a videogame that takes place in post nuclear apocalypse Washington DC.

It's odd to see these national monuments and places I've totally been before seem destroyed and neglected.

What a crazy couple of weeks it's been, and it doesn't look like it's gonna let up anytime soon.

After a road trip to Arizona for a weekend of Dancing, meeting one of the last living original Swing Dancers and getting him to sign my shoes, the 24 Hour Dance a Thon,  Starting to teach swing classes at The Jam, and trying to move...I'm beat!
