I went to the ice hockey again this weekend, where the Knights hosted the Sydney Bears. Predictably we lost (4-1), but they played a lot better this week! There was actual defence/offence happening! I tried to make pupusas for dinner tonight. Overall - not a great success! :( The dough was way too crumbly and also perhaps too dry? idk.
At least my coffee turned out well, and my bread seems to be rising well.

So the Blackhawks have been eliminated, which is sad, and only becomes more so when you see their sad faces. So woebegone. :(

I'm trying to bake fresh bread today - the no-knead kind, which you leave to rise for hours then cook in a closed cast-iron pot in the oven. I've made the dough, let it rise, and baked it, and it smells right, but I'm not sure how it turned out. Must resist cutting it open until it has properly cooled!
