Not so messy
3rd time lucky on the gingerbreads = lots less mess. Especially with the royal icing bit. I have much more creative and awesome ideas in my head than my hands and reality can actually create :( And I ate too much left over icing... again.I do it every single time. Maybe that's why Elmo says I haven't matured past 6.

Muse was awesome. They've got to be one of the best live bands ever and even the shy lead singer is becoming a lot more of a showy front man. So I'm in Perth from tomorrow then NZ after that, no stop in at the office in between. When does the battery on my banking PIN generator for work decide to die without warning? I've only got all of our payroll batches tomorrow to authorise, argh! Def start to a shite week :( -
How embarrasment
I didn't realise til I was walking in the door at work... that I'm wearing 2 different boots. So luck would have it that I managed to pick odd boots but get a left and a right?!? I only put them on just before leaving the house so didn't notice before then, and one of my feet was a bit sore underneath anyway so I didn't think anything of it ( Read more... ) -
Shaky
So.. I'm supposed to be going to Christchurch in a bit over a week.. Elmo's not so keen on me going as he is a worry wart, but the boys in Christchurch say that it was mostly outside of town (Canterbury) and that their store and surrounds are OK, the hotel is OK and the sewerage and water are OK. I just got a photo sent to me, 2 out and 2 to go. Good thing it's during the day and there are people home on watch. So far one black and one fawn. Guess what I'm doing tonight? ;)

Puppies
My brother's dog is having 4 puppies, I got to see the ultrasound. It was hilarious, it looks like she has 4 comic-style fish in her belly. You can see the 4 little skulls, spine and some ribs and they're all lined up in the same direction, which makes sense but it's just not something I've thought about before.
