( massively long update on Expo and Other Random Stuff )

This weekend I went on a bus tour to Nagano with the five ladies (Owada, Tanaka, Seyama, Tahara, Toyoshima) in one of my English classes. ( It's loooooong. )

It's a little late this year, but spring has come to Chiba. (I can already feel the humidity rising. Yuck.) The sakura finally decided to bloom this week, so on Saturday I went to to the park for hanami. I went with three of my students and the students they teach. Last Saturday I met up with Hoshi no Koe and her mom, who were in Japan on a tour. I had offered to show them around Tokyo, although when I say "show around," I use the term loosely. This weekend Ichiro, Kasai-san (my supervisor) and I took a little jaunt to Sapporo. Like our trip to Fukuoka last year, the idea of this trip is to give us a better idea of what CIRs in other cities are doing. On Sunday, we'll be having a ceremony for the CCIA's 10th Anniversary. Apparently a bunch of the high-ups in the city government will be attending, including the mayor.
