Is there anyone here who gets to selfinject? Or has someone come to them to do it because they can't leave the house?
I'm thinking about asking my doc's about it but I was just wondering if anyone out there was doing it

BTW Ive been on the shot for about 5yrs now and I think it's a blessing

So I lost 7 pounds switching from the pill and my period stopped, but I've been showing signs of paranoia and depression lately. I'm just curious of these could be a result of the shot.

But the benefits... Jesus Christ.

How bad are the side-effects in relation to the benefits? My period was horribly irregular (and HEAVY) and my cramps immobilizing, and I tried like four different pills and I ended up getting it every two weeks on the pill, sometimes with nausea and all that junk... I first got Depo about 2 weeks ago. I have a history of depression and Ive been on anti depressants for about 5 years, but I've been really great in the last 6 months, no problem with moods. I have been on depo for a year, no probs, and have always taken the injection 12 weeks apart, but I am a bit of an idiot and I am going to be on holiday for the entire 7-day window of my next injection. Is it possible to have the injection a week early, at 11 weeks instead of 12, or is this baaaaaad??!

Has anyone ever had this happen? I first started Depo in 2003. I went off it one year later. It took some time for my peirod to start up again. When it did, it was normal. 2 years later, I go back on Depo. My reasoning to go onto Depo is military reasons. Because who wants to be on the rag when spending 10 days out in the field and not shower?... ( Read more... )

I was on depo for a few years and at the end my period was finally going away all together.. before that I spotted a lot. I stopped depo because I wasnt having sex anyway and also the risks associated with calcium depletion..etc. So I expected it to be awhile before I got my period back..
