I've been reading Do The Math for awhile now; it's a mathematical / statistical / physics-based analysis of our energy consumption as a planet and the ramifications of that consumption for the future. This would be a lot less interesting if the music weren't also good; as it is it's pretty amazing, both in concept and execution. Eric Whitacre posted a video of him conducting the piece (to an empty room), and then received submissions of people singing the music to his conduction; the videos got cleaned up and temporally aligned and then used to ( Read more... )

Theoretically this was a straightforward project -- I'd already done two frames in a similar style, and this one was just larger.

It turns out that working with 25 square feet of project is rather complicated.
