Hi, I read this this afternoon (well, after listening to the podfic on the way to work, which, LET ME TELL YOU, was not a good life decision because ugh, incendiaryI pretty much loved this to bits. I adore it when a story is set in the context of them as friends and bandmates. And this had such great interactions between them - arguing about music, because it's such a major part of their lives, and goofing off and ragging on each other ("a god has fallen," bahaha, and then Frank being all, but really you're okay, right?), and stuff about their family lives. And I liked that Mikey was anti-sad note. Mikey is the best

I'm so, so thrilled you liked the story, dude! It was great to build the atmosphere and comfortable relationship between them so that the late-night space of the studio felt that much more heavy.

Gerard's characterization was just amazing. His special mix of ridiculousness (god, of course the sound of his own voice and the idea of jerking off for the camera turned him on, of course it did) and scorching hotness (his faces and poses in the low light, ugh, and KISSING FRANK AFTER) really came through.

YAY! I'm SO fascinated by how he manages to be all these things at once, too, and could explore his relationship with cameras and ~~posing for THOUSANDS OF WORDS MORE. Really happy you liked it, and the scenes felt vivid!

I don't think I ever commented on this, so since I just left feedback on the podfic, I thought I might as well come here and let you know how much I enjoy it! I think the concept is really interesting, the descriptions working with the way it was going to be told, you really feel THERE in the room with them. And wow, SCORCHING HOT. And I really love the wives being integrated in our stories, so this is a WINNING story for me!
