1.) I find it depressing when really technically talented fanartists don't understand characterization.

2.) It bothers me more when female artists mess up with female anatomy. I hate having "breasts don't work that way" or "girl parts don't look like that" moments only to find out the artist is a chick.

How do you work out voice for characters you get stuck on? Some of my original characters come to me so easily that I don't even have to think about them... but others...
