Leaving on a jet plane....ok not a jet plane, a car...
I am all packed and ready to start my drive to Reno after work. I will probably stop on Victorville and get a room there and then start again early tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to seeing my family and maybe some friends too. :)

Friday is once again date night
I am going out on my 3rd date with Lisa tonight. We are going to Famous Dave's for dinner and then going to see The Hunger Games.

Getting off my mental butt......
Ok, after reading a message from a friend I have decided that it is time for me to get off my ass and do something about my weight so I have signed up for weight watchers and am going to start attending meetings when I get back from Reno. ;)

Wonderful :(
I just got a call from my doctor’s office telling me that weight management is not covered by my current insurance, so I guess I am really on my own now. I will look into it more myself when I get the chance, but I am also assuming this means that surgery would not be covered either.

The Way
I just finished watching this movie and I thought that Martin Sheen's performance was just outstanding. The movie also got me thinking about my life and the things that I am doing and the things that I am not doing. I think I need to sit down and really take a look at what I want my life to be.
I highly recommend this movie to all of you.

Babylon 5 - G'Kar - Moments of Transition, Moments of Revelation
I think this is my single favorite monologue by the character of G'Kar (played brilliantly by Andreas Katsulas, R.I.P.) which is saying a lot because he had some damn good ones through out that series. Take a listen and tell me what you think. ;)
