Work Day at the Cottage - the short version
I am very very very very very VERY grateful to friends for their help today, in just 6 hours of work we managed to undo two years of overgrown lawn. Yes, we may have harvested a number of ticks, grown a few blisters, and melted down an electric lawn mower in the process - but I think it was all worth it. Thank you corvusjoyous and Tyson and James!

Last weekend Noah and I went to see Clash of the Titans, and when I first left the theater, I was sort of numbed out (in the way I have gotten after seeing super-fast action movies for the last few years), and mostly wondering how Noah reacted, since he was hugely into the original movie and has become quite an expert on Greek mythology.

Holy cow, this is astonishing. "The memorial services for Glenn Beck's credibility will be held at St Ego of the Arrogance"... Truer words were never spoken.
I'm starting to really like the meltdown of these nutjobs, first Beck and then Rush, how much longer can it be until they start taking shots at each other, just to keep some attention on -
Recipe Goodness - Fish Curry
I gather various recipes, mostly off of Yahoo and Epicurious, and occasionally I get around to actually trying them.
Last night I finally got to try the following Fish Curry recipe, and it is fabulous!
Super Awesome Fish Curry
Prep time: 15-30 minutes
Cook time: 1 hour-ish
