Fatty Liver Disease
Hi Everyone. I just got diagnosed with fatty liver disease. I haven't been in to see my doctor yet to get any additional informtation, but I wondered if anyone else here has it? How dangerous is this? I've been having a number of stomach problems that my doctor said could be related. Any information would be great. Thanks. -

resetting
Two weeks ago yesterday I learned what can happen when you don't take care of your diabetes and hypertension. I had a relatively minor iscemic stroke in my thalamus. Volunteering
I've gone to plenty of Diabetes Expos here in Minneapolis. The past few years I've volunteered to do the Tour de Cure, two years as a regular volunteer and this year as a committee member. Saturday I'll be helping out at my first Step Out. That will be fun ( Read more... ) -

Any monitor recommendation? I think I need to change mine, I'm not sure. I don't even remember how long I've had it for, lol. Past two days, I've felt like I've had lows but when I test it, I don't. It's not high, and it's not too low. It's at where it should be. Ugh, I hate diabetes but I'm sure I'm not the only one. :P -
Not the diabetes-related vision problem they warned me about (humor)
Last night, I went to bed, as usual, with my insulin pump, as usual. During the day I wear it clipped to my waistband or tucked into a pocket, but I generally just let it lie in bed next to me at night. I have great news!
I went to the doctor today for my test results. Firstly, I lost 14 pounds in one month! So my diet and exercise plan is working! My A1C is now 5.8 !!! Now I am at pre-diabetic level! And I only have to check my blood sugar once a day! *does happy dance* And if I keep up the diet and exercise I can get my diabetes to normal and not have to test ( Read more... ) -
Hi I am a newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic...
Hi everyone. *waves shyly* I am a newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic. Got diagnosed April 20th with ac1 being 6.7. I was blind-sided. I always had troubles with high cholesterol and sinuses and have seen my mom go through her diabetes, I feel like I have failed her somehow, and myself.
