Another beloved cat crossed the bridge
Pelusa was put down today after a huge battle against osteomielitis, a bone infection that entered because her long fight against calicivirus. She had this problem since she was a kitten and we brought her home without knowing. 2 months ago she was stronger than ever and we finally were able to see her jumping on the kitchen table asking for food. Good news, Pelusa, the sick kitty is still alive, but we're still waiting for the bone to recover and the vet is trying to kill the infection that spreaded there, the cat is still hungry and wants to eat even if she has a hole in her mouth, below the tongue, I imagine that if she stops eating, the vet will suggest to put her down, I'm ( Read more... ) -
