Sweet potato doesn't seem to be a very popular ingredient for desserts. However, The soft, sweet, starchy tuber holds a special place in my heart be it savory or sweet.

I've been eating way too much recently and I blame my brother! Unlike me, he is moving back to Singapore so it seems like he is packing in as much as his favorite food as possible during his time left. Unfortunately his favorites are also sinfully rich and the cause of my recent weight gain. I seriously need to go on a diet once he leaves

I haven't updated in ages. It's not because there's nothing worth writing about. I guess I'm just distracted and..confused. There's too much going on right now. I haven't really had the time (or mood) to sit down and write. I'll be back when things have settled down.
In one night I managed to: 1) lose my wallet (thank god some kind samaritan turned it in) 2) get burned by a stray cigarette 3) slam the car door on my thumb..ouch
I've read about Che on a couple different food blogs a weeks ago and I've been craving for it ever since. I couldn't stand it anymore so I finally made the drive down to Van's Bakery and Banh Mi & Che Cali today!
Candice and I decided to brave the line at Sprinkles which is Los Angeles' answer to Magnolia Bakery. I can't believe I lined up for 45 mins for freaking cupcakes
