As I've shared, I've been training for a 10K. Well, the summer kind-of took on a life of it's own and now it's fall. The 10K I plan to run is a Flapjack run. You do the run, you eat pancakes. I must admit, this has been a really good weekend. I made a 4 day out of it. Thursday my husband and I went to the fair just the two of us. We walked a lot (of course) and ate a lot (obviously). So it's been a while since I've written about my jogging journey. I got some new shoes and once I put them on and jogged in them yesterday, I'm pretty certain I should've bought some a few months ago. I now know for next time. I hate waiting. I suck at it. Oh well. Friday they made the decision at work who would be getting the 100% paid nurse practitioner thing.
