this is probably the latest i've stayed up in a while. man i'm tired. and have little to say. and am sunburnt.

yeah.

i rode a bike like thirty kilometers today! like in the worst time to go, between 10 and 2! whee!

i think i may have heatstroke.

but i saw some temples and stuff.

now i'm in cambodia, whee. first temple excursion tomorrow. i'm here four days, and then going to phnom penh, i think. i don't have an incredible amount of time (after the temples, about a week), but i still don't know really whether i want to go to sihanoukville. poop.

okay so. i went to patuxai today, which is a concrete version of the arc d'triomph (is there an 'e' on the end of that?) in the middle of vientiane. i saw the presidential palace on the way there, which is quite nice, from the outside, also went to wat sisaket, which was pretty cool. it was the only wat in vientiane that survived the thai invasion ( Read more... )
