Empathy
Most of my life, i was unable to emphathise with children. When they go out and throw tantrums, i think it's their fault. The parents, good, well educated middle class folk like myself, stand there helpless, and their kids go nuts around them, and i think 'Those kids are EVIL, nothing their parents do can change anything! Skilling up
I'm entering my 3rd trimester of my pregnancy and months 5 - 7 were not that bad. I was puking and exhausted for months 1 - 4 but they were right - the second trimester is much better. I'm finding enough energy to go for all the pregnancy yoga, swimming and pilates classes. I can walk again. I can cook without gagging at the smells of everything. I ( Read more... ) -

I'm pregnant, and i didn't mean to be, so this explains my rather... dispassionate stance on the whole journey. Winning and losing
1. My morning sandwich lady now gives me TWO eggs instead of one as a standard in my egg roll each morning. Does this mean that:
a: They love me and want to please me (+ 100 points)
b: I've been cheated all of last year? (- 60 points)
2. I now can walk normally again, but not down stairs as my left knee cannot take too much weight.
