’m in a history of American music class, which for most part drives me nuts, but we kind of had a fun discussion today. The topic of it is “Would you choose "The Star Spangled Banner" or another patriotic song as America's national anthem? Today was my first day as an FCS, and miraculously I survived. They gave me my corporate cell phone, now I'm on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I know I haven't posted recently, been in kind of a wired place as of late. But things are evening out a bit now, and that's good.

The offspring have a new album, it's wonderful, it makes me so very, very, happy!

I’m working on a novel of mine, one I haven’t worked on in a long time. And it’s funny how going back to something can be informative. I’m a good writer. Admittedly my spelling sucks, and I don’t necessarily have the best of all grammar, but I can craft words together in such a way that I can tell a decent story. This makes me unspeakably happy.
