Well, spent most of Monday cleaning out the bunny barn. It never ceases to amaze me as to how much dookie such little creatures can produce. Put in an "undersink" RO system yesterday. Spent 4+ hours doing it, too. Had to put in extra mounting supports, drilling holes, screwing things together...I guess along with not being a mechanic, I'm not a carpenter nor a plumber either. Well, Yesterday was sure busy!
Got the oil pump o-ring installed in less than an hour. As soon as I got the pump off, I knew I had really screwed that pooch good. The o-ring wasn't even in it's cahnnel in two palces, squashed flatter than a pancake, and cut in another. No wonder it leaked! Duh!
