Mel hauled me off to a Korean restaurant last night, owned by a woman who is called "mama." Mama was fantastic company-- she sat by the table all night and played with our hair while we fished things out of a boiling pot set between us. When I was paddling my way around this really big island for the third time last night, I saw a girl latched onto a skim board kicking in the direction of a crocodile, so I grabbed her to keep her from following, and she thrashed around and tried to bite me!
