Yay! August 19 was the magic day. Dinner at Olive Garden was wonderful.

I find it quite amazing that she's put up with me for 19 years, but on the other hand I'm the best thing that ever came into her life.

Orbitz called my cell phone and woke me up at 4am to tell me my flights are on time. ARGHHHH
Did I go back to sleep? Hell no!
Free wifi at PIT... the journey has begun

Two more days and we're on Bonaire for two weeks! Finish shopping and packing on Tuesday, drive to Pittsburgh and stay at motel with parking for car for 2 weeks, a sleep over in Pittsburgh, then a shuttle to the airport on Thursday morning. We had guests for dinner and despite the all day rain we decided we'd take our chances and take the boat up river to Morgantown to watch the fireworks. When we got to the marina I realized we couldn't do that. It looks like the Morgantown lock and dam released all the crap that had backed up behind the dam in the past year. AT&T bought out Cellone, our wireles provider. I got a new contract today for less money than I'd been paying and bought two new Samsung SGH-A747 phones. I dont have texting on my plan but for $5/month I can add 200 messages. That includes text, pictures, video. My first attempt came out a bit too salty on the surface. Next time I'll rinse it better after it's cured for 24 hours. Since it's a bit too salty to just eat plain I minced all the meat, added it to sour cream with some dry ranch dressing and hopefully I'll have a good dip!

I bought a Bradley digital smoker a couple months ago. I've only used it for a couple of things and the electric cool aid acid test is about to happen! I've got two salmon fillets curing in kosher salt, dark brown sugar, white sugar, and peppercorns for 24 hours.
