Has been an inexcusably long time since an update. All I can say is that between the flu, Christmas, work, and difficulties with the opposite sex, I haven't felt like it. . . . to say thank you to everyone who commented with sympathy both for my bad mood the other day and for Brownie. It was very much appreciated.

Brownie's home and she's fine. Her chest x-rays were clear so the vet removed the tumors she had. Wound up being three of them. The biopsy won't be back for a couple weeks, but the vet said it's really academic since the tumors are gone. I'm very relieved. Brownie, one of my dogs, has breast cancer. We took her to the vet for a rabies shot and I insisted on showing the vet these lumpy things she's got on her. They've been there for ages but mother has always said they're sebaceous cists like Princess, one of our other dogs, has. Well, they're not. I've lost my pocket watch. I loved it. It was pewter finish with a flower and vine pattern all around it. It had a skeleton face with glass.
