maja stares at him, shaking her head and willing herself not to cry, but she is hurt. he has done this before, once when they were children, and he never dared to do it again. she supposes that after all this time, after she forced him to leave a town that he loved and drive across the country just to make her happy, he deserves to act like a 12 year old brat.
