So yeah, I went years without posting here and almost that long without making a pad, hand sewn or otherwise. I've just been using Lunapads and the homemade pads I have and they're wearing quite well. I've gotten back into sewing recently, non-pad items that is, and I remembered I had a bunch of new flannel lying in a drawer just begging to be made ( Read more... )

I was searching for help and came across this group. I am allergic to commercial pads and I'm about at the end of my rope. I have never tried a cloth pad before....I actually had never heard of them before.
