I did an AIO with channels. I was able to use the shell of my son's outgrown worn out coat as waterproofing...not quite PUL, but not too far off. :-) a couple of old washcloths folded into 4 layers and some remnant batik from Joannes to top it off. It is/was a fitted dipe (it fit the babe at 24 lbs) with a open pocket in back. It is PUL with a satiny finish and a velour inner lining. I'm not sure what the absorbancy pad is but it is sewn inside. (it's a Swadlebees dipe) It even has snap closures that I may be able to make the wings from that section...maybe ( Read more... )

Washing fabric before hand

Snap setter

Hello! What would be a cheaper option for a snap setter? I don't feel like shelling out $150+ for a heavy duty one that I may only use once or twice. I'd rather not use sew on snaps because I am too impatient for that. Is there any hand snap setter? And where would I get snaps? Thanks!
