I love this country. Yesterday, I tipped my waiter and he told me I was pretty.

I just got back from Cordoba. We went for 2 days and just had the best time. This weekend is the Festival de los Patios. They decorate all these interior patios with tons and tons of red, pink, and purple flowers and then open them up to the public. It's a competition too, and people just go all out. The weather here is just beautiful. Spring came really really late, but it's finally in full force. I've just been hanging out, enjoying my time in Granada. I just got an email from the ed department at Stonehill- I've been placed in a first grade classroom for student teaching. I'm really excited, but totally terrified. I have had the best 5 day weekend. Tuesday (today) is a holiday so they give us Monday off too so we can travel. That is why it's called a puente- because having Monday off bridges Tuesday with the weekend. Anyway, I didn't go far but it has just been fabulous. We caught the first train out of Dublin on Saturday to Galway and our friend Shannon met up with us. We walked around for an hour and then took a bus tour to the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. We got up early Friday morning and headed into Dublin. Thankfully, Sean has no Friday classes so he was able to spend the whole day with us. We hopped off the bus and headed into Trinity College which is just beautiful! We went to the library and saw the Book of Kells which was just fascinating.
