Today I got to catalog sheet music for a song from 1924 by Al Bernard called "Blue Black Hoodoo Blues". Here's the first stanza:

Saw Soul Music yesterday (got a 2 dvd set with Wyrd Sisters). Meh. Animation's crappy and they took definite liberties with the Susaz character. Plus Death of Rats sounded like a derranged monkey instead of anything approaching a rodent.

Yesterday I finally cleaned and dusted Erzulie's altar (i.e. ever expanding temple complex). I'd really let it go a bit, but dust is hard to see against so much pink! ROFL. Anyway, she must have liked it because I had the *hottest* dream in a long time this morning ;>

Yesterday the university closed at 3:00, the library at 3:30. I had to hurry to get my betta fish in his jar to take home for the holidays.
