Excuse my extremely offensive post. Since It's been 3 years that I have not posted on here, I doubted anyone would be reading it. EVERYONE has extremely selfish thoughts/desires/reflections in the privacy and anonymity of their own minds. I choose to put it down in writing. I will not apologize for writing it, however if it offends you, I apologize. Since my post doesn't apply to you, I am actually kind of surprised you took offense to it at all. The Lauren I knew long ago laughed at other people along with me. But that was ages ago. :P

And it was a fleeting characterization and generalization of a whole bunch of people. I don't necessarily feel that way about ALL the people I meet/see. I promise, I am not always an asshole.

I'm not looking for recognition. I am mostly just interested in why I am weird and decided to do something that NO ONE in LA has ever considered.

Everyone I know is going to be a doctor/lawyer/mortgage broker/Businessman wannabe. Nothing wrong with being a professional, but the people who dwindle away at SMC for 5 years, end up being some "club promoter" or "my friend got me this mortgage broker job" or some such nonsense boggles my mind. It's like... GET A JOB!

It just seems that these days kids/young adults are LAZY and have a huge notion of entitlement.

CLARIFICATION: The people reading this journal are NOT the subjects of my ridicule, otherwise you wouldn't see this, and if you did, your comments would probably be deleted or blocked...

More eloquent than the past, and most of all, more substance. You've come a long way since high school.

Oh and by the way, YES, I will get (hopefully) a cushy job with my bullshit 4 year degree from a good school, and will probably make more money than you and be living it up in LA. But then again, you're going to be a freakin fighter pilot. Pretty badass.
