I haven't posted in...oh...5 months. I've been busy with several other projects, work, and family. I tried for a while to keep a written journal (which I still do occasionally) and it's been hard not to be able to log on to LJ in the morning or evening at work. A brief bit of catch-up
Things have been kind of crazy since I last posted. I got a job and moved back to civilization before MyGuy to start working. MyGuy finished up his internship year and we took a vacation up to Indiana to visit family, picked up my father who flew there from CA to help us move, and drove (17 hours in one day) back to the middle of nowhere to pack ( Read more... ) -
Yay for Friends and Concerts!
MyGuy and I went with another couple to see Billy Joel in Virginia Beach last night. We sat on the grass at the very back of the amphitheater amidst WAY too many people and had a great time! The venue oversold for the grass so people were standing at the back and sitting beyond the back bushes on the downside of the hill. Crazy ( Read more... ) -

Ah, the panic of crunch time studying!
I dreamed last night that my job interview today would consist of tests. My last job interview consisted of tests and I SO wasn't ready. I did, however, still get the job, but it was still very embarassing to be looking at a packet and panicking because I had no answers.

I slept on the couch last night.
was asleep by 11 or so in my comfy bed. Twas lovely. Sadly it was not to last. I was awakened at 3am by MyGuy getting up and kind of fumbling around. I finally asked if he was okay and he said he thought he was getting sick. Headache, sore throat worsening, etc. He came back to bed and proceeded to fidget for an hour.
