The dialling code is 0035. From what I've heard there aren't any cheap b&b's, Dublin is really expensive!

Antibiotics?

Antibiotics won't do a thing if its a viral infection apart from accelerating bacterial resistance to them. See here for more info.

Most likey the best approach is to help your body fight infection by treating it well, drinking plenty of water. I usually drink loads of OJ but I have no idea if that helps. Paracetamol or Asprin are very good at controlling fever for most infections, have you already tried some?

Yes, went to the docs this morning - he said exactly the same thing! He's told me to rest for a couple of days and take parcetamol. I was hoping there woud be a quick fix but it seems i am wrong:(

Flights including taxes and insurance from east midlands cost £70.68 - not bad! i'm going wkend 13th May. When were you & Fran thinking of going?

I was thinking of earyl may depending on how the festivals go , I'm doing a stall at the end of may so will have to make stuff for that but might have time for a weekend away!

Have a fab time!! let me know of any places i definitely shouldn't miss - including pubs (which i guess are a little difficult to miss) its been a few years since i went to Dublin.
