The Disillusioned Self

Feb 01, 2006 11:53

I feel so mixed up sometimes. I have been known to disillusion myself with the way in which things, and people in my life are. Later, and sadly, I get smacked in the face with the reality of it all; only then do I realize how blinded I previously was. Perhaps I am such a wishful soul, a dreamer, that I choose to view things in such a positive way. ( Read more... )

I try. ^_^ And I'm good at the nice part. Now if you expect me to remember where I put my glasses or follow a strict schedule, we might run into problems. >.> And you getting used to it wouldn't be a bad thing. We all need a 'cheerleader' on occasion.

Here here! Now I am the one offering up some cheer:-) This could totally work! I really have nothing of note to write at the moment, but checked my inbox and noticed the time of your last comment. Perhaps you are still there, er, here!

I am that friend that could help you remember where you last set your glasses ^_^ Yes, at times I feel my memory is a bit of an incubus. Other times though, I love it. I am also good at the whole nice part too. I could not imagine being any other way and am so bewildered by those who are, i.e. most people!

Earlier, I was just reviewing the pictures that Greg took last Saturday. He sent T. and me the link, but did not have an e-mail address for you or anyone else:-( I'd put it here, but not sure if he wants all of Live Journal to have said link. You do have a lot of readers it seems. That is a good thing though; it says something about the author.

To a certain degree, this is true, in the philosophical sense anyway; however, there are a few inbetween people to connect to that will understand, friends, certain family members or future future friends. Walking through life isn't so bad, just as long as you can find the beauty in between the vibrations of reality. You can walk amongst people or through them, personally, sometimes, there's more to see within the vibrations than there is the average person. But who's to say? Each person is a galaxy....well, sorta, unless they're rednecks.

Thanks for reading me. I am aware that there are in fact a few exceptions, i.e. exceptional people to whom this does not apply.

I love your sentence of: Walking through life isn't so bad, just as long as you can find the beauty in between the vibrations of reality.

That is so true. Also the metaphor of each person being a galaxy is great. I often view them as such as well(loved the disclaimer re: rednecks). Keep in mind the occasional galactic occurrences such as meteor showers and asteroids, as these can hit one by surprise.

Happiness is a state of mind, a choice and/or change in perspective can in fact do so much or so little. You sound like you are aware of the unbeaten paths through this life and that is a good thing.

I enjoyed reading you; stay real.
