If you're not going to help someone with a problem, you forfeit the right to condemn them for it.
If they've accepted that you're not going to help with the problem, you shouldn't punish them for still HAVING the problem you're not going to help with.

Got more info on the gaming group thing. Apparently, it's case of "How DARE you have a reaction when I treat you like shit." Anyway, one more of them isn't talking to me anymore because I'm unable to put on the fake grin and tapdance while they're shitting on me.
