It's been more than a week since I left the hospital and I think I've made a lot of progress. During the last week, I've gone out to dinner twice wearing no makeup at all! And survived! Have been home for over a day and am much stronger as a result! No bad dreams to report. And yesterday ADT finished installing the most awesome security system! It even tap dances! As you all know Doni came home yesterday. It is great to have her back home. Today we went shopping at HEB. Doni rode in an electric cart and made it through the store without any incidence. Doni's out of the hospital and back at home. We're all very grateful for the support you've shown. I'll try to get Doni up to speed on the whole livejournal thing. I'm sure she'll be touched by all of your comments.

Thanks to everyone for love and support you have all given us. Like Doni says...this is what Corpus is all about...meaning folks like all y'all. ( I still remember how to talk like a Texan!) Both the cardiologist and pulmonologist seem to think she can be released, so at this point we're mostly waiting for the trauma doctor to come by Doni's room to give his stamp of approval.

Doni is back in a regular room: #410. She's entirely off oxygen and looks chipper. We're hopeful that she may be released from the hospital as early as tomorrow.

CCU visiting hours are the same as ICU: 8am, 12pm, 4pm, and 7:30pm.
Flowers can't be received in CCU.
