Oh man, I love BAMF!John. The ending was rather heartbreaking, though. I'm fond of Moriarty. Still. Good job.

I'll confess I was quite conflicted with the ending, as I adore Moriarty too, especially when he is being extra creepy. Only, you know John wouldn't stand for Moriarty messing with Sherlock that way.

Gah, Jim/John is my weakness. I love how sweet and creepy Jim is and how totally BAMF don't-mess-with-me John is. I'm surprised Sherlock had no clue about all those kisses and visits from Moriarty. And poor John being in love and getting his heart broken, while watching Sherlock falling for Irene and getting betrayed by her. Ouch.

I wouldn't assume that Sherlock doesn't know about the kisses.... ;-) I think there are reasons why he wouldn't mention it, if he did know about them. (I'd also say, that in my head at least, John is wrong about Sherlock being in love with Irene.)

Man, this fic. I can't even-
I just adore this whole idea. I will admit, I was slightly worried, as I'm not too fond of Jim/John pairings, if simply because Sherlock doesn't give his trust often and that would absolutely break him. But the ending. Gah. I love me some BAMF!John. The only thing that could possibly make this better is a sequel, possibly involving Sherlock finding/figuring out about the whole Jim/John thing and getting all angsty and possessive...yum. :)

(And you're right, I think if the end had swung the other way it would have broken Sherlock - he never would have admitted it, but it would have all the same - regardless of what his actions have done to John.)
