i ate some delicious grocery store cake (with real fake sugar frosting!) about an hour ago, and now i can't tell if: a) i'm hungry (because cake really isn't all that filling), or b) my stomach is crying (because I bought and ate a mini cake from an off-brand grocery store at 11 at night).

today i had a five hour break between my last class, because i had a lab that was cancelled, and a study session i had scheduled for after the lab. this is how i spent those hours:

12-1: going to the computer lab, printing things, getting/eating lunch, buying notecards.
1-2: making chinese notecards, doing actual things i needed to be doing

Okay, two interesting things that have happened to me since coming back to New York:

- my frog had to go to the hospital
- I was the victim of a hate crime. A hate crime against bicyclists.
