Truman Capote had a conversation recall of 94%... he tested himself.  If I had to wager a guess,  I'd put myself around 24%... I probably couldn't pay attention to a conversation long enough to test it.   Except for lectures and talking to interesting boys that I like, I generally can't keep my mind on anything going on around me.
