I went to my first game last weekend and took my sketchbook in case I got bored. Apparently it is sacrilegious to get bored at a hockey game though, but I sketched a few people anyways during halftime (Claire made fun of me when I called it half time...).

First, here is my 1940's look:) We are singing "Sentimental Journey" I attempted rolls, but my hair was not having it, and I really can't go against its wishes... Also my nice camera wasn't charged, so I used my mom's point and shoot, hence the crappy quality. I went outside and took some pictures:) I love walking in the woods in this weather. I wish I had someone to join me though... my dad told me I perhaps shouldn't be wearing a tan jacket with a white hat though. Prooooobly not the smartest thing. Sketching is a nice way to pass the time while waiting in lines for hours... Plus people are so tired that they hold very still for long periods of time:)

Special sneak preview of my halloween costume...

This is based on Helena Bonham Carter's death eater mask from harry potter. I made it out of paper mache, clay and spraypaint. I have another one too (based on a different death eater mask), but it's not done being painted yet

My favorite is the alcoholic air plant that seems quite happy living in a jar with a small portion of my wine cork collection...
