I have a question.  What the fuck?

One exam down and one to go.  God, that was horrible.  It was honestly like a scene from Nineteen Eighty-Four complete with row upon row of panicked people and an enormous digital clock projected at the front of the room.  I can't believe I have to go through it again in a week and a bit.

I don't know if people saw this but apparently this was a superbowl commercial.  I'd be surprised if the whole thing was included though.  Not sure if I'm the biggest fan ever of their music but they do have awesome videos.

Oh, Putin how do you manage to be terrifying and hilarious at the same time.  Here is the background.  Also, it occurs to me that I could get censored here...

I just came across this little tidbit.  I guess I shouldn't be too surprised as Neil Gaiman has been getting more involved in the film industry.  At least, if there is anyone who isn't going to make some kind of cinematic travesty, it'll be HBO.  It looks like Gaiman himself will be involved too so I'll take that as a good sign.

I think I said I would keep posting about Grenoble but then I didn't.  Well, I think things are going pretty well.  I still like the city and the food and drink is great!  I do have classes which nominally, I'm supposed to attend - and I have for the most part.  Having everything in french makes things somewhat more difficult but I'm not finding it ( Read more... )
