Other than having an often hard-to-hear, mumbley voice, I have a decent handle on the English language. However, I notice there are two words I have a hard time saying: Declaration and Burglaries. Spent about 7 hours outside today in this "dangerous" cold weather. With the right clothes, it is actually quite comfortable.

Finally got a job. Nothing glamorous. I basically do maintenance for this company that owns several large apartment buildings in Buffalo. A normal day is quite easy BUT since one of my winter duties is snow removal and this is January and this is Buffalo...woah. Ever shoveled snow for 5 or 6 hours in a day? I went in for a job "interview" today at the Channel 7 news studios. It is just a shitty part time extra job. I would be cleaning the studios for 3 hours 3 days a week. My trusty Fostex x-28 4 track recorder died while mixing down drum parts for a couple of new songs Saturday. All the lights just lit up at once, and it refused to play, rewind, or fast forward. I find applying for jobs depressing. I think a lot of it has to do with having to condense your previous employment into these little boxes. Years of your life are synopsized into boxes.
