Josh and Kristi had their baby today, October 6th. Scarlet Anne Robey came into the world at a whopping 10lbs. 4oz. She also wanted to give mommy good reason to only have one kid, making labor last about 36 hours before the doctors went the C-Section route. Kristi and Scarlet are both doing well. Holy crap. 36 hours? Why the hell would anyone wait 36 hours before just getting a C-section!?

I think it's because she was trying to be brave and do the whole Natural Birth thing. I don't think she'll try that again.

I will never understand that. There are advances in medicine for a reason. You wouldn't let a dentist pull out a tooth with a rock and no novacaine. Why would you let them pull a baby out of your vagina and want it to hurt?
