Grounded Hog Time

Woo - it's friggen 'groundhog day'! BFD, right? With most of the country crippled with a deep freeze/snow/ice, whether or not a stupid, fat pampered varmint sees his 'shadow' is of little concern.

But, its time for a silly poll if you are trapped/digging out from the latest 'storm to end all storms'.

Yeah, I've marmots on trips out west. Much cuter and smarter than the stupid fat woodchuck/groundhog.

I was really torn between the groundhog and the woot! shiny button. I wouldn't know a groundhog or a woodchuck, if they say groundhog - that is good enough for me.

I do love the woodchuck Geico commercial though...

Gopher = woodchuck = groundhog.

Too many names for this silly varmint.

I think groundhog and woodchuck are just different names for the same animal. We call them woodchucks here. "Woodchuck Day" just doesn't have the same ring to it though. :P
