I started out my writing life as a poet & not a story/prose writer, so it was fun to write something that allowed me to go back to my roots, so to speak. Thank you so much for reading and commenting :)

But this. I would've given an arm and leg just to read this. Again and again and again. Beautiful can't sum up the characters, how both Draco and Harry need each other so much. I really loved how you gave us point of views from each side, letting us see how their actions and words merely defined themselves for each other.
I admit it. I cried like a baby at the end. It's just so... You are made of awesome. Scratch that, you are awesome personified.
Can't wait for the reveal. I'll stalk you forever if I haven't already. <3

I've had a couple conversations with people recently about not-so-great-fic. It seems like there's more out there than usual. I think it may be that the fandom is less intimidating than it used to be & new writers are giving it a go - for good and bad. Right now, I'm encountering one or two REALLY good fics per fest and about four or five good ones. I write too much to be able to read everything, so I'm pretty demanding. If a story doesn't grab me right away, I'll push the back button & go on to the next one. I don't want to stop reading a fest entirely because there really are always a couple of stories that are rock-my-socks awesome. But I won't get beyond a few paragraphs with fics that are either bad or just so-so.
So that said, I'm thrilled you decided to give this a try & liked it! Thank you so much, and thank you for leaving a make-my-day comment. I'll look for you on my flist :)

I adored the happy ending! And how Draco left his wand behind so that Harry would know he was staying! This really makes me flail! <333
And their jealousy! I love jealous boys! XD
I love how they took up for one another. Draco telling people they'll never be able to beat Harry and Harry telling people they'll never arrest Draco <3

I'm SO happy you like the result of your prompt. I don't always manage to hit the right buttons with my prompters, so the fact that you like it makes me extra happy :)
I love jealousy too, and I haven't written much of it . . . hhhmmmm, note to self. And I'm thrilled you liked the wand detail. Nobody else mentioned it, but it's one of my favorite moments in the whole story. Draco knew it was a message that Harry couldn't not be able to interpret.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment, Kitty.
