My mom told me that she was proud of me for not caving into peer pressure and doing what I believed was right. Not that there was really pressure, just loudly stated opinions. Can someone explain to me why we pay taxes on the money we earn and the money we spend? Does the government not realize that the money we earn and the money we spend is the same money? Not paying sales tax would put a lot more money in my pocket.
