Mohammed Abdullah? LOL, sorry to hear that you didn't start off the year with a BANG characteristic of suicide bomber packs. Then again the thought of capital punishment in Malaysia sounds scary! Imagine all the criminals who would have raped you in prison.
Petrona Towers? Ha, yes Taipei 101 beat it! :) I'm Taiwanese and heavily biased of course. China is the silly billy trying to play catch up. Taiwan doesn't have plans to build something else to eclipse Shanghai's project.
(you write very well :) but what's up with the prelude...I see it all over your blog and previously I skipped over these entries thinking you were writing fiction...creative writing...well maybe sometimes it is :)
oh, the intro..... well, i only have been doing them for my entries on s.e. asia. so, if something starts with ACT X, scene Z then it's an episode in my arduously expansive pseudo-dramatized autobiographical mini-series.
in other words, i do it because i like the idea of making my life seem like a made-for-t.v. movie or a really crappy one-man soap opera. plus, i like the idea of my words being a staged monologue spoken to reader -- it gives things more flare. and, it's a good literary way of helping the reader envision my surroundings and what daily life is like without describing them point-by-point.

Ah, drama queen, I see :)
I'm guilty of the same trick when I blog about events and places.
