so things are going pretty well. i got promoted to supervisor and hopefully will be getting a pay raise. i'm already working full-time, so that's good. i'm so excited to be going home on saturday! i can really use the time off and it'll be so great to see everyone. i've been so homesick lately. holiday blues i guess ( Read more... )

yay! i'm done with 3 of my finals! i don't feel extremely good about any of them, but moderately ok. doesn't matter though, cause i am almost done with finals. wooooooooooooo

AND my stepmom bought my plane ticket. double whoop.

my head hurts though. :-!

it's coming back to me just how horrible finals are. right now i'm working on a take-home final that is 3 essays (3-4 pages each) in length. i also need to include 8 terms from a list in each essay, as well as answer the question and cite/discuss the chapters that the prof has assigned to each question. so it wasn't raining this morning...thus i decided against taking my umbrella. halfway through work it starts raining...continues raining....and pours when i'm on my way home. why didn't i take my umbrella this morning? oh yeah...i didn't want to carry it.

so i realized on my way to school today that the number of hours that i spend doing homework and preparing for class is way too low. on avg. the profs at mills expect us to spend 2 hrs at home on hw and studying for every 1hr spent in class. total for all of my classes, i'm expected to be spending 20hrs per week on homework and studying! that's ( Read more... )
